Exam Prerequisites
To be eligible for the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification, you must have one of the following certifications.
PRINCE2(r), Foundation
Secondly, PRINCE2 Agile(r), Foundation
Thirdly, Project Management Qualification (r) (PMQ).
Next, Certified Associate in Project Management (r) (CAPM).
Lastly, IPMA Levels B, C, D, and D(r), (Certified projects director).
It is important to know that APM Project Management Qualification, (PMQ), which is APMP’ or ‘CAPM’, are registered marks of Project Management Institute, Inc. PMI is not affiliated to AXELOS. PMI does NOT validate AXELOS qualifications.
Things you need to know about the PRINCE2 Agile(r), Practitioner Exam:
Before booking an exam, first verify that you have completed the prerequisite. This can be a letter or certificate from AXELOS, or a letter from an old Examination Institute, confirming that you have a current certification.
Secondly, your examination results are subject to a hold until the prerequisite has been met by PeopleCert.
Finally, if you are unable or unwilling to provide the prerequisite, you will need to complete it before the higher-level exam results are released.
Prince2 Agile Practitioner Exam Format
PRINCE2 Agile(r), Practitioner certification exam is an open book exam in which the PRINCE2 agile guide can be used as a reference during the exam. There will be 50 Prince2 Agile Practitioner Exam Questions that must be answered in two hours and thirty minutes. This exam will contain scenario-based questions that are related to a case study. You must score at least 60% (30 marks) to pass the exam. The exam can be taken in English, German or Polish.
